After being sent to the emergency room for a severe asthma attack, spending the night in the hospital, and being told by several doctors that I need to leave my apartment immediately because of the mold problem....

We're moving out.

Mold was found in four different locations in our apartment. The maintanence took their sweet time getting to "fix" it (dab a little bleach on the wall and call it good). They only "fixed" two of the locations. The rest we "fixed" ourselves. If you're allergic to mold like me, I don't recommend this place at all.

Here's the real kicker for us....We went for two months off and on without hot water and electricity until they finally decided to change our electrical panel. When they did change the electrical panel, it was obvious that other priorities were higher than filling in the large gaping hole in the wall that remains there to this day (two months later).

We were happy when it was cheap, but then new management took over and they think they can get more money out of the place. So they charge us now for the extra parking space and from what the new manager says they plan to raise the rent some more. We definitely would not pay more than we pay. The value just isn't there. The maintanence and management just isn't quick enough to justify a higher rent.
