Lakes Apartments

I lived at The Lakes over five years ago, but the experience still haunts my memories. This place was awful. The apartment layout was terrible. It has absolutely no character; kinda like a warehouse. Parking left much to be desired, as well.

Above all, the management was horrendous. Once they get you signed up, they will treat you like jerks. Unless they have new management, stay away, stay far away. And make sure that if you decide to live here and move out later, that you do the final walkthrough with them. Take pictures of the place before and after moving out. They will do everything in their power to keep your deposit, so be very careful.

One experience I remember is when I was walking my friend's 120-pound Rottweiler. The dog got away from me and I chased after it. One of the managers came out and started yelling about having a dog on the premises. Uh, duh, why do you think I was chasing after the dog? That's when I stopped chasing and told her to go to... you know where.

There are much better apartments in this area. Stay far away from this one. The only reason to live here are the ducks. And that's not nearly enough.
