There's no other way to describe the current Manager Rob and his asst.manager. I have lived at this property since 1990-thru 1994 and came back after my divorce, in 1999. It's been about 14 years all together. But most recently, 5 years, since 1999 and I have never had to deal with J E R K S, like these before. They have no customer service skills. PEOPLE SOFT is an unknown term for them. I had a few encounters with them before but today 6/25/04 was too much to handle.

I have a 4 y-o who plays outside and had left some plastic cups around the barked area to the right of the back area of the apt. where I live. I always pick up all his toys at the end of the day. At around 5pm, as I'm sitting in my living room, peacefully having dinner with my son, I started to hear and then see his small plastic cups flying from the right side into my porch area. One of the cups was a bit larger than the others and heavier in construction. When that particular cup hit my porch cement floor, it bounced back up and hit a made of plastic basketball hoop that it's also one of my son's toys. At that point, I ran to the back porch to see who was doing this, which I supposed was another child. I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES WHEN I SAW THE ASST.MANAGER WAS THE ONE THROWING THESE CUPS FROM THE WALKWAY TO THE SIDE INTO MY PORCH.

When I asked him what he was doing, he said the toys did not look GOOD outside. He was showing the aparment to a prospective tenant at the time. I asked him if he thought IT LOOKED GOOD to be throwing things at the apts. The prospective tenant was still there, watching from the walk-way on the side. I asked this asst.manager, why he hadn't come to ask me to remove the cups, before started throwing them away. I was upset. At least I expected an apology. However, instead, he turned around and said he would not argue with me and went back to the leasing office.
Then I called to speak with the manager. He would not come to the phone because he was busy talking to someone else (according to the receptionist). I told the receptionist, I would then go to the office, (which is right across from the back of the apt. where I live).
When I got there, the asst. manager came out first with a defying look in his eyes. I asked him why he had left. He said he would not argue with me and called me "kiddo". When I told him I would not allow him to talk to me like that. He turned around and walked away. Then, the manager comes out, when I told him what had happened and what he was planning on doing about it, this was his answer: I DID NOT SEE ANYTHING!!!!!! I could not believe it!!! No apology came out of his mouth either. He took me into his office telling me we would talk in there more calmly. But would not let me talk and talked over me without letting me finish. He tried deviating from the subject but I would not put up with that and went back to talking about what had just happened. He then asked me to leave his office stating he could not communicate with me. Did he ever try' Did he ever apologize' I told him I'd not leave the office until this situation was resolved. What he did' he stood up and said he was leaving and walked away from his office, leaving me and my 4 y-o son in there by ourselves. AGAIN, I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I WAS LIVING THROUGH AT THAT TIME. I left the office and as I was walking out he said .... go to www.aimco.com and complain. Have a nice day and closed the office door on my face. When I got back to my apt. I was so upset I could not stop crying. I cried easily for 2 hours. I called AIMCO's main office in Denver. They were closed. It was after 6pm pst. Then I realized that probably was the reason why the manager or however you want to call him, wanted to leave. It was the end of the day for him on a Friday.!!!
I have worked in Customer Service for 14 years and I have dealt with many unsatisfied customers. I know how to give good customer service. This fairly new manager at the LAMPLIGHTER PARK APTS. HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT "CUSTOMER SERVICE" MEANS.

BESIDES BEING UN-HUMAN, THEY DO NOT COMPLY WITH THEIR OWN POLICIES ABOUT MAINTANCE. 3 WEEKS AGO, ALONG WITH MY RENT PAY, I REQUESTED FOR MAINTANCE TO COME FIX THE BACK PORCH SCREEN DOOR WHICH DOES NOT OPEN AND CLOSE PROPERLY. "I'M STILL WAITING FOR THEM"!!!
PRIOR TO THIS, SOMETIME LAST MONTH, I REQUESTED MAINTANCE FOR MY BATHROOM, BECAUSE THE SEALING AROUND THE BATHTUB AREA AND THE FLOOR, WERE COMPLETELY LIFTED-UP. AND NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED BECAUSE WATER WAS GETTING UNDERNEATH AND POSSIBLY FORMING MOLD. "IT TOOK ME AT LEAST 3 CALLS AND 1 VISIT TO THE OFFICE TO GET THIS TAKEN CARE OF"
What can I say' I guess the same as another tenant/reviewer says in the subject of his/her review: " BAD BAD BAD, OH MY GOD, THIS PLACE MUST BE STOPPED." uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
