When we first came to the property the leasing agents were pretty decent, nothing special. Throughout our stay, we have encountered nothing but empty promises.

We finally ended our lease recently and got a bill in the mail for a RIDICULOUS amount to cover minor issues such as carpet and apartment cleaning. We busted our butts trying to leave the place clean and in a timely manner. We never received any information about their policy and procedure for moving out except in the bill for $500 to clean the apartment and some stains on the carpet!' Right when we thought we had cut off all ties with this dump, they tried to get even MORE from us. We also never got a walk-through before we moved in and were told to do it out ourselves. Our apartment was not cleaned before we moved in and we were promised a free carpet cleaning (never happened and now we are being penalized!). When my roommate tried to talk to the manager, he was very condescending and treated her like a second class citizen. She was embarrassed, angry, and otherwise felt sorry for this sad excuse of a man who got off at treating her and me as if we weren't worthy of his time. Sad to say this man is the current district manager (I cant even fathom what the other properties are like).

They show you this place and do not tell you about the details. I was there for a while so I will let you in on all I know. In the recreation room: the pool table is falling apart, the big screen TV does not work... see for yourself when you walk around the property. MY CAR AND MY ROOMMATES CAR WERE BOTH BROKEN INTO!!! They have a serious problem with all the young street kids and some tenets that are troublesome. I personally encountered a problem when they would not let me store my bike in the hallway and I got a rude message to move it or get fined. On a side note, I also found out from the maintenance crew that the pool does not get cleaned regularly and has a constant algae problem. I would not trust the amenities they have to offer because they are not well kept. Also, the buildings get COVERED (and I mean completely swarming) with some kind of ants with wings during a few times of the year and they will sit there for weeks. It was utterly repulsive and I would have to hold back the vomit when exiting or entering because these things would be reproducing and crawling around everywhere.

Overall, the accommodations and treatment received from these people made me want to warn you that they are not honest people. The district manager on property is a very awful man who made my roommate cry and I hope he reads this to know that we are not the only ones who are aware of the underlying scams that are going on around there.

p.s. the two "good" reviews are from the staff of AIMCO and Lamplighter for some sort of damage control and to avoid humiliation.
