I moved into the complex just about a year ago, and I have loved living here! The apartments are very nice, modern, and well maintained. As with every apartment I occasionally hear my neighbors when they have there TV or music on too loud. They are very pet friendly. I have a large dog and we have had no problems. While I pick up after my dog, there are a few bad apples that don't, thankfully the landscaping crew cleans up the issues when they arise. The office staff is friendly and helpful. I've found ---------, in particular, to be really fantastic and on top of things. I've only had a few small maintenance issues since I moved in, and they were resolved within 24 hours. The complex is really beautiful and well maintained. It fits in perfectly with the surronding area. The location is fantastic, a 2 minute drive from I-90, there is a small plaza within a short walk that includes a grocery store, nail salon, spa, dry cleaner, dentist, Starbucks and Blockbuster. There is a much larger plaza just a short drive away in Newcastle. Sometimes parking can be tough, but usually only very late at night, and even then it just means a short walk to my unit. I really love living here, and would renew my lease no question. I would recommend the Overlook at Lakemont to anyone who wants a quiet beautiful location within minutes of the city.

Now I really suspect this is a leasing agent/management. Who else would stay on top of their apartment review to post a rebuttal on the same day? The wording clued me in the first time. Write my own review? Why didn't I think of that?

That's fine, if you look at my history of reviews you can see that I lived in a few different places and not even on the west coast. I reply right away because this service sends me an e-mail anytime someone responds to my reviews. I'm sorry if you think someone can't possibly have liked living there, but I did.

i can tell you that one of the gals that worked in the office here moved to another property in kirkland. i got the scoop from her and she admitted that they frequently post bogus reviews on various websites. if you're going to do that, at least make it sound believable. this original review was so fake, i knew it by the 3rd sentence. and yes, i've written my own review.
