Don't move here

It may be close to downtown Bellevue, but that is the only positive comment I can make about this apartment complex. The apartments themselves are alright but nothing special. The problem is more with the management and the rent increases. Management was not helpful 95% of the time. We made a number of requests that were either ignored or had delayed responses. We also had a mold issue, that the management treated very lightly, until we threatened them with contacting a higher authority. We've since moved out and received a ridiculous move out cost fee. It's amazing that even though they require a decent sized deposit (half of which is non-refundable anyway) they have charged us even more for cleaning up an apartment that was in decent shape after we left. It seems to me that they aren't paying for any regular wear and tear, and demand tenants to pay for everything. As for the rent increases, the rent went up $500 for an apartment that had old carpet, bottom end appliances and not the greatest countertops or vinyl flooring.

So where did you move to? Did they have any deposits? Have you ever lived at anyother apartment complex before?

Everything that was stated here I can second. The move-out assessment was an absolute joke. I am considering litigation.
