You'll fit right in at the Piedmont if you're Indi, especially if you have children. If you're Hispanic, you might like it okay too. But if you're not, and you're looking for an old apartment built in the 60's that will be filled by barf-inducing stench of curry and greasy fried food, you are happy with low water pressure, and want to be the only non-Indi/English first language tenant (Punjabi is the primary language spoken here, Spanish second) then this is the place for you. You'll frequently hear your neighbour's slam their doors, and you'll awaken every morning to sounds of garbage trucks, cawing crows and chirping birds. Turning on your cheap old HotPoint oven to any temperature will automatically set it to maximum 500 degrees, burning whatever you attempt to bake in smoke & flames in under 20 minutes. You don't get any storage space, and your visitors must park far away. Don't choose the top floor unless you enjoy sweeping your balcony every week, and don't move into a unit with a fireplace -- it's loud when it's turned on, and you'll smell gas when it's turned off with the pilot flame burning. This place is a lot like the Woodland Commons, except the Piedmont has fewer facilities and higher rent cost.
