Really bad experience with the management there. Very rude people. I had informed the management about leaving the apartment 21 days in advance by calling them up. On the 19th day I get a call from piedmont office and they ask me if I'm renewing my lease. I told them that I had already called them up that I am leaving. So I get the answer "You didn't give us a written notice." So I had to pay them 1 month rent extra $1080 on a month-to month basis, when I had already signed a lease somewhere else. Their GM had come down too and I told her my story, she said "If we soften the rules for you, then we have to soften them for everybody, i.e. you will have to pay for the extra month!!!!". I am so so so upset,angry n annoyed with these people and while I was arguing with the management, I came to know that 20 other families are on the same boat as I was! So you see, this is all a scheme to BS people into giving them an extra $1080 for free. SO PLEASE DON'T RENT THESE APARTMENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLUS SOMEONE HIT MY CAR IN THE PARKING LOT AND THE KIDS RIDING BIKES IN THE PARKING LOT, SCRATCHED MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, you have to give written notice, what did you expect. Also - I'm glad they didn't bend any rules for you. At least they're being fair!

Other than the fact that written notice shouldve been provided, this place really does suck. Management doesnt care and noise is a problem, No cell phone reception, poor highspeed internet (and no, only have 2 options and only 1 of which that barely works). Read my complete post for more details.
