I just wanted to write something that was positive since I have noticed nobody focuses on the positive just the negative. I just wanted to give props to the new management. They took over this property the day the wind storm hit, with no power and tried there hardest to accomidate all of the residents. It wasn't there fault the power was out. I also wanted to thank them for doing so many new things around here. It makes me feel included and with having a little one and being home all of the time I truely enjoy the play time, yoga and the community walks. I have lived here for about 10 years and have gone through a couple of management changes and I personally love the one that is here now. Freash cookies every morning, smiling faces, and they acutally get the job done. I may not like the fact my rent went up, but if I were to move it would be the same price or more expensive any where else. The maintenance team is wonderful, prompt and clean. Parking not an issue what so ever. I have a sense of home here and am not going anywhere. Thank you for everything Piedmont x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk

You are obviously an employee to have posted this... seriously, do you think people are that stupid? Sure, you guys have done some things, but saying that now new management is here, they have fresh cookies every day???? Are you kidding? The last people had cookies, too. And they would talk to you instead of running you out of the office. I used to come hang out and talk to the staff and sit by the fire. You people in the office there now are just not the same. I wish the old manager and staff would come back - most of us real residents miss them quite a bit. After 7 years here, I'm moving when my lease is up.

Dear Sir or Mam, Roughly 5 minutes ago I received an e-mail from this site notifying us that a review for our community had been posted to Apartment Ratings. After reviewing the letter and the response, I can say with certainty that the posting written in April giving thanks to the community was most certainly not written by Management. Yes, it is true that there are people that are unhappy with the community. That being said, the vast majority of the community is very happy with their home, community and the management. I do not dispute, the previous management also offered fresh cookies each day. I worked for that company for seven great years. I now work for HSC Real Estate, a stellar company that believes that the Resident's come first. We have taken this belief and set it into action by ramping up the community activities, keeping the same services that the previous Management offered and ensuring that community policy is in place and enforced. I am unsure as to why you are so upset, but would hope that you would take the time to come and address the situation with the office. As long as it is legal and does not violate company or community policy, we will do whatever we can to make it right for you. For those reading these reviews, please take a moment to consider that there are a) two-sides to every story b) some truth in every statement and c) people are not cookies cutters - environments, policies and personal preferences play a huge part in how you will adapt to and enjoy your home. Take the time to really tour a community before making a decision. Walk around the apartments, say Hi to your prospective neighbors and ask what they like and dislike about their home. What one person likes or dislikes certainly may be the polar opposite from another. Good luck in your search for home and happiness! Piedmont Management

I would like to say thank you to the management that responded to this posting. I am also in property management and have found that every time someone posts something positive on here the others seem to think that it is the manager that is trying to make the property rating better. Maybe, just maybe, HSC Real Estate employees really do a good job and are good at managing the communities AND the people that we piss off are rule breakers NOT the good tenants.
