These units are old. When I first moved in, my unit smelled musty after a month of not being lived in. The bathroom fixtures are so old, they stain quickly and are hard to clean. Same with kitchen counters. If it comes to money, the owners find every way they can to take yours. Don't expect your deposit back, and be careful to give your notice in plenty of time. A couple hours past the "deadline" and you'll be paying another month's rent. There have been robberies, but owners won't share information with tenants out of fear they will move out (money motivated). Some units are better than others, so ask to see at least 3. Storage space is non-existent. Not enough kitchen cabinet space for dishes, no linen cabinet, lousy bathroom cabinet space. Poorly managed, but that goes back to really bad owners.

I know someone whos car got broken into there. Its right behind hopelink and there are constant fire trucks/ambulances driving by with their sirens blaring. There is also a registered sex offender living in the area...great.

Yes it is true cars get broken into here and the police are here repeatedly. This is a busy corner next to a 24-hour liquor store (7-11) so people buying beer after midnight come through here. Not safe for kids.
