As you will see by the other reviews, the management here is awful. They are unfriendly, they are not helpful. The only reason they are allowed to get away with such rudeness is because the building is in a good location and looks pretty on the outside. Looks can be deceiving. One of the countertops in my unit has linoleum countertop material covering it with no wood underneath! The walls are thin and I can hear my neighbor playing video games at 2 a.m. during the week. In the summer time it was so hot that I had to sleep at a friend??s house for weeks. Moreover, when I DID sleep there, I had to use earplugs because the sound of my neighbors having amorous encounters (almost every night I was there in the summer) was echoing off the courtyard walls.

Also, if you have a pet, READ THE PET POLICY THROUGH CAREFULLY! When I wanted to get a cat I learned that the animal MUST be declawed, which many pet owners find ethically upsetting.

Overall, although the building is well-maintained, that seems to be the only positive thing anyone can say about it. The management here takes advantage of the people who live in the building. They are dishonest to their tenants, and ill-mannered. The building is sweltering hot in the summer time, and the noise is uncommonly loud. Please read the rest of these reviews carefully about PBC, and choose to live elsewhere.
