I had read some of the negative reviews before I moved here but, because of the location near the transit center, (I commute to Seattle for work) I decided to come see for myself.
Most of the complaints were about the staff. What I found when I walk in was the nicest person I'd met in quite a while. Some stated this was only to "get you in".
Well, I've been here for 7 months and the staff is just a snice and, immediately responsive to any issues I have brought up.
I am able to get back and forth to work in Seattle quiclky and conveniently on the 550 sound trasit route --> the bus runs every 10 minutes so I never even worry about checking a schedule, just walk the block to the trasit center.
My apartment was clean, my neighbor are quiet at late hours (actually, I rarely hear them).
I really like the secure bldg and parking --> since I'm so close to the transit center, I rarely drive. A tank of gas lasts me almost a month.
My energy costs are low too; the largest electric bill I have had all winter was right around $50, as compared to over $250 when in a single family dwelling.
I have lived all over ther eastside in the last 15 years and this is by far the best area I have been in. Downtown Bellevue has finally 'grown up' and ready for a large residence use.
Yes, the price may be a bit more than that an apt in east Bellevue but, I wouldn't give up this location to save $300.

Maybe you're just exceptionally pretty/ handsome and rich. I've noticed the staff be REALLY nice to those people. I'm so happy for you that you had a nice experience, but don't be so quick to denounce the stories of others. A LOT of people have had negative experiences with the staff. Their politeness depends on the whims and hormones of the manager.
