I ran a dehumidifier night and day in order to keep from having trouble with mold. A resident in another building said the person who had my unit before me had moved to a top floor because of mold problems. I didn't see mold when I moved in but did ask mgmt if I could move to a top floor unit when available because I have mold allergy and noticed trouble breathing sometimes even though I didn't see mold in the unit (could smell it in outdoor storage unit). I was never asked to sign a mold waiver until just before I moved out. Mgmt said I'd never returned it signed when I moved in, but in fact I never got such a document when I moved in. Perhaps they're asking for the signed forms now to forestall any legal issues' Don't know.
