This operation is potentially a winner, but hold off on commitment until they get a couple of issues straightened out.

ConAm, who owns and operates this property, is more honest and responsible than most. The location has easy access to bus routes, a Virginia Mason clinic and health clubs; and is 4 (long) blocks away from the library and the Bellevue Transit Center; and 5 blocks from theaters and shopping. The maintenance guy is one of the best in the biz.

Among the issues as yet unresolved: We've had 3 managers in less than a year. The latest one has good potential but needs time to grow into the job. Meanwhile she's not often in the office. We have lots of construction going on on this property, and have been told it will end this spring and those who were here during it will get only small rent increases afterward. Whether this all works out the way we were told remains to be seen.
