Not worth it

I moved into Second Street when they had a tenured manager, Kathy, who was very nice and from what I heard, a very good manager. But before I even signed the lease, ConAm moved Kathy away to another complex and since has been moving managers in and out. I must've seen at least six different faces come and go. It appears that when the managers do turn over, it's for one of two reasons: the person gets fed up with the property, or ConAm sees a good manager and decides to move them to another property. This makes me think that Second Street is on the bottom of ConAm's priority list. On top of the horrible management, upkeep of common areas is absolutely disgusting. Since I have moved in, I have had constant allergy symptoms and a stuffy nose that will not go away, which I have never ever had before. And that affects my whole quality of life. I am beginning to wonder if they are breaking health codes by not routinely cleaning the air ducts, or maybe there is a dangerous substance in the building' This is also a staffing problem, since the place is too big and too old, with too many problems just for poor Duane the sole maintance employee to deal with. The hallway carpeting looks like the original carpeting from over two decades ago, and the stairwells constantly smell like garbage or human urine. And this is a secured entry building! When I first moved in, Second Street was actually an okay trade off-- lower quality for decent rent and awesome location-- but now ConAm somehow thinks they can justify bumping rent up to luxury apartment rates for a small, dingy place with absolutely no amenities! No entertainment/media room, no gym, no swimming pool or sauna, and tenants have to pay for their parking spot! I would say that for what they are charging for rent these days, the place is definitely not worth it. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
