This is my 3rd apartment in the DT Bellevue area. The first 2 were $200 more expensive and I thought I found a gem when I happened on Sir Gallahad.
Parking is fine unless you drive a gi-normous gas guzzler...Serves you right! Trash is a pain. I live in the B building and bins are in A. The elevator is really sloooow and a bit creepy. The stairways to the garages are not well-kept at ALL. The walls along the back way are MOLDY!'' It smells AWFUL in there. It makes me prefer to park across the street at Toys R Us (where a lot of ppl park, I think) rather than in my assigned space.
The courtyard is annoying. During the summers when everyone has their windows/patio doors open, you can hear EVERYTHING- ranging from a regular conversation to TVs to people having sex! I don't suppose there's an architectural miracle of some sort that can deter that echo-ey sound problem''
Maintenance is something else. I've never been told that I'd have to wait "a week and a half" to have a drainage problem fixed. Management advised me to use Draino. 1. Paying $5-10 for Draino comes out of my pocket. I pay you rent why' 2. Draino is VERY VERY VERY bad for drains. This tells me that the management company doesn't care about the long term. THey want money and they want it now. The manager herself is very nice and tries her best. The assistant.... not so much. The gym is a little bit of a joke. Bad ventilation in there and the equipment is very limited.
You're really paying for location and interior of the apartments (which are kept very nice.. aside from drains).

I know the B stairwell well and asked the manager what the black and grey stuff was. It was repair concrete work being done, in steps, by the builders. Later I saw one of the builders doing some of the work and asked if there was a mold problem. He said not at all. That it was merely a minor wall repair being done on the concrete and the grey stuff was concrete 'mud'. Now it's all painted white and looks good. I've never seen mold anywhere in or on this property. I've been here for over 2 years. Draino is a good temp. fix and yes the maintenance of your tub drains is your own. If you cannot fix it with a drain opener the maintenance person will take care of you. He told me that draino isn't good and that he'd rather do the unclogging himself. That's nice of him and I appreciate his telling me about draino but turns out draino is only bad on pipes that are not the polyeurathane which Sir Gallahad's piping is. Sorry to hear you had such a bad time. The Assistant Manager passed away in a terrible car accident on May 31st. We all miss her very much.
