The roof is leaking as I write this...it's been an ongoing problem. The office here is not very responsive to maintenance problems.

One time a smoke detector/fire alarm was going off in the empty apartment next door. The sound was loud, piercing, and terrible--and went on all night long. The answering service refused to notify maintenance, said their policy was not to bother them over "alarms."
