I moved into Espana almost 2 years ago and I wish I was still there! I loved my apartment. It was the perfect size 650 sq. ft. and had very reasonable rent. I also loved the little architectural details incorperated into the apartment.

I never had any of the maintenance problems that other people have mentioned. When the city was doing construction on 140th it caused a rat problem at the apartment complex. (which, as far as I know is now taken care of, and was not the fault of Espana Management) However I did encounter a rat that chewed through my wall, and when I went down to report it to maintenance it was taken care of that same day! As far as mold issues go, I kept my apartment clean and well ventillated and never had an issue with mold or mildew.

The office staff was wonderful and was always willing to help when I needed it. They were very informative, and if you ask the correct questions, you will get all the answers you need. Everyone should know that there are certain repercussions for breaking a lease and/or not notifying the office in time when you are planning on moving out (it is described right in the lease if you would just read it!)

Parking was only a small problem for me, and I worked late hours so I got home after most other residents. Very rarely did I have to park more than a quick 2 minute walk to my apartment.

This complex was at a perfect location for me as well. I was a student at BCC while living here and BCC is right down the road. There is also a lot of shopping, gas stations, and grocery stores nearby.

Overall I loved living here and if I had the ability, would move back.
