Don't be duped!

I got suckered in. Fresh out of college, and got a job that kept me in the Bellevue/Redmond area, and at first, it was an easy pill to swallow. $765/mo for a 1bdr/1ba. In Bellevue, ok that makes some sense. But you would have to live here to understand how bad I'm overpaying. The mold stench permeates EVERYTHING. Clothing, my hair, furniture apholstery. The heaters, Jesus. I have my living/dining room heater at 80deg and the room is chilly if I move away from the heater itself. This is likely due to the ancient sliding glass door and non-weather resistant window installed in this craphole. I called to report that the window broke, just about the same time my garbage disposal broke. They fixed the disposal leak after the 2nd or 3rd time I called to inquire about it in a two week time period (it would cause permanent damage) but didn't bother to fix my freezing ass window. This place has become almost unlivable, and as soon as I sign on with another place, I'm out of here.
Oh, and the claims that you can hear your upstairs neighbors taking a leak' Absolutely true!! I feel bad for our neighbors when my girlfriend and I are intimate, because I'm sure they can hear everything we do.
I realize renting is a crapshoot, but should it be this terrible'' At least I haven't had my car stolen or been mugged. Well, at least not by anyone but the management. Without proper notice or legal cause, they've had my car towed and not bothered to let me know to where it was towed. They've raised the rent on me already in the last 6 months.
I always feel like an imposition when I approach management. What can I say, they are unfriendly.
