Good Place to Live

The Valencia has been remodeled, relandscape and supplied with a new leasing staff. It's a great, clean place to live with quick turn around on repairs (that's been my experience). All of the apartments are repainted prior to move in. Mine was recarpeted.

The only downside currently are the college students (whining babies) and surplus of illegal aliens (ah, that's right- illegal isn't pc to say anymore). Don't worry, the aliens are very nice (seriously). They may have hired some ex SS prison camp gaurds to patrol the parking lot. If you like permanent stickers, this will not bother you :D

This place is sandwiched between a highschool and a community college. What kind of people did you think would live there? And about those "illegal" aliens: if you like the fact that Bellevue and Redmond look clean and well-maintained, thank an alien. It sure as hell isn't a whitey or a darky I see out there on the roadsides wearing city coveralls or on the lawns and medians clearing weeds. They are parking ----'s though. Took me a month or better to get that stupid orange sticker off my legitimately-parked but not yet registered car.

The immigrant community there was very nice & polite and I am not at all convinced they are illegal as implied. They work and they pay their rent like everyone else. I am not aware of any crime that impacted me in any way during the nearly 4 years I lived there related or unrelated to immigrants or otherwise. I didn't encounter the "whiny college students" either but then I mind my own business and have a life. I didn't encounter parking problems either but I had my window sticker from day one and usually there was ample parking, the turn over no doubt contributing to generally ample parking situation. HOWEVER..... Watch out for perpetual rent increases every time your lease expires. The property doesn't have the plush ameneties to justify the rent increases and you will find yourself peeved at the increases in the absence of ameneties to justify the increasing rent amounts.
