We have stuck it out here for one year, and it has been a nightmare from the beginning. One month after moving in, a huge construction project was started on the building, which required taping up exterior windows, covering the building (including windows) with green tarps, and having construction crews on scaffolding right outside our windows all day long. Not only were we not informed of this construction before we moved in, but the tenants of the complex actually had to hire a lawyer before any rent compensation was offered. The exterior construction is mostly complete on our building now, but the management continues to leave weekly notices that they will have construction crews entering our apartment to perform minor cosmetic changes. We have had no privacy, and the building has been a real construction site from the very beginning. There are never-ending paint fumes, unlockable doors, broken elevators... I could go on and on, but I?ll leave it at this: no matter what the management tells you, don?t move in here!
