Very expensive for what you're getting

Cons: Expensive for the square footage, very little to no parking, CONSTRUCTION FROM LAST YEAR WAS HORRIBLE, they are very quick to charge you for anything late but are not quick to change or fix issues that would risk security(read down for more details).

Pluses: Very quiet(built well), very convenient in regards to proximity to Bellevue, elevators are very wide for moving things in and out and going up and own, washer/dryer was definitely nice to have.

I cannot explain to you in words how much it sucked to have construction going on every day for an entire year!!! They originally posted it would be finished with jack hammering in one week but it took over 1 month for the big construction machines with the jack hammers that shook the entire building to finish. Then they had sawing, cutting, drilling, and hammering going on for 11 months!

I cannot say enough how much it sucked for me to live in the apartment. What else is worse is that they told me if I renew, they wouldn't charge me more if I decided to renew or go month-to-month. Guess what, they did. I went month-to-month so I could look for a better place. I didn't argue with them about the rental rate going up because it wasn't worth my time to reason with people who knew all too well how much it was an inconvenience to the current residents about construction but did not compensate or do anything for them(including me).

What else is worse is that they're very quick on charging you if you're one day late past the grace period for rent but they're not quick at all about issues with their side. For example, the garage door was broken and it took two weeks to fix it! Come on. I pay for garage space so that I don't have to deal with the limited parking and also for security! I asked them constantly about it but they kept pushing it back. No explanation at all.

Do I get to charge them for being so late'

Anyways, the apartment itself was quiet(when construction finally ceased). I never heard my neighbor's unless they were doing something with their pots. The elevator was nice.

Being close to downtown Bellevue makes everything expensive. If you like going shopping, eating at nice restaurants, being close to the freeway exits, and don't mind the expensive prices, go ahead and live here.

And by the way, one of the reasons the prices of these apartments are higher is because most likely the construction of the interior courtyard went over budget(took too long to complete)!

Construction sucked, but it was totally worth it. The court yard is so much nicer than the previous and now they've put furniture and wifi for all to enjoy. The management is much better now and very easy to get along with; they always refer to my lease if I have questions and really stick to policy...at least I know where they stand!

It WAS NOT worth it. Are you living in the court yard? Do you use it every day? I highly doubt it. I don't think you lived at the apartment for 11 months to understand how crappy it was to live with the construction noise every day.
