I enjoyed my Apartment -- 3rd floor facing 11th street -- quiet -- no noise -- lots of sunlight -- I did have to do some cleaning in kitchen on move in as was not cleaned to my satisfaction (oven, stove, microwave) Apt had brand new carpeting in place -- small size for the money but it was extremely convenient for me to work and with winter weather made it easy to get to work. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping -- convenient to almost everything downtown. I did smell cooking in hallway from time to time but nothing that bothered me or filtered into my apt. I have a small dog -- I did not have any rude dog owners, or tenants -- everyone was helpful, respectful, courteous. Office management in my opinion was very friendly, helpful, and I had to leave my lease early and they made it very easy for me -- I am waiting to find out about my deposit money for my dog -- I left the apartment cleaner than when I moved in -- however almost every apt complex will charge a cleaning fee at end of lease -- Overall I had a pleasant experience at Verona and for a downtown - highrise apt complex it was exactly what I expected it to be --- parking is a problem for company or moving trucks, u-hauls ect but again management accommodated my needs to the best of thier ability.
