I actually enjoyed living here - until move out time rolled around.
While renting at the Foothill Commons I enjoyed all the recreational things available. And the apartment was good price for the size.
HOWEVER - when we moved out (we had lived there for 2 years) we waited for the security deposit and dog deposit. When we did not receive it, we called and they said that there was no deposit left after making the repairs and adjustments needed from move out.
A few things on their list:
..new light bulbs
..touchup paint (AFTER charging for completely repainting the apartment)
..carpet cleaning (AFTER they charged us to replace all the carpet due to an "un fixable" stain that had been noted when we moved in.
..Kitchen knobs being worn!
Keep in mind that the lease says that normal wear and tear - is never deducted.
It also states that the carpets are cleaned and fully painted between every resident no charge to the deposit'!'
..the list goes on.
In other words - I have to fight to get my 900 deposit back - and I dont kow where to even start.
