I have lived here for the past couple of years. I found the place economical compared to other apartments in the neighborhood. Safety is an issue - I know a neighbor whose car was broken into for the sterio. However, I have not noticed any "gangster" activities as mentioned in some of the reviews. The management is quick to respond to complaints, but I find them somewhat rude at times. I heard that most of the buildings are more than 25 years old, and I believe many of them don't offer good insulation - my electricity bill soars really high during winter. Another issue with these apartments is the paper thin walls - you can almost have a conversation with your neighbor.
