We moved in in Dec of 2008. We were specifically looking for am apartment with disabled access. This is one of the only places I talked to that TRULY understood what it takes for a wheelchair bound person to access an apartment. From this standpoint things are good. We love the layout, paint colors and general atmosphere. Maintenance is off and on. Sometimes I report something and I almost immediately have someone show up on the other hand the front of one of my drawers has been falling off since we moved in and may fall off any day now and there are some other minor issues I reported at the same time that remain unrepaired. The granite counters in the kitchen would be gorgeous but the ones in my apartment are extensively cracked. On the ohter hand...they built a mini ramp to handle the threshold on the front door, removed the glass wall/door on the shower and installed needed handrails for my husband.
We have serious issues with some other folks who refuse to be courteous in the use of the ONLY disabled parkng spot for at least 3 folks who need it but this is not the fault of the management. This is the reason for the low marks on parking. For most parking would be just fine.
Insulation is poor with lots of heat transfer through windows. I can't leave the miniblinds or verticals open unless it is between 65 and 70 outside.
Bottom line''' I m not moving as I m basically happy here! Would I recommend it' Yes pretty enthusiastically.
