When I first moved in, I noticed the smell of stale cigarette smoke but assumed I could get rid of it with some thorough cleaning and airing the place out a bit...six months later I dreaded coming home to that smell. Their web site advertises an "on-site" washer and dryer, but they don't mention that because wash rooms are not locked you have to sit there guarding your clothes for at least an hour (my roommate had an entire load of dried clothes stolen out of the dryer). Also, because the dryers do not work very well you will have to pay more than usual. My total for each load was between 2.50 and 4.00 dollars. During the winter we began to see water damage inside the house the insulation was apparently faulty. One of the burners on the stove was missing, another didn't work, and the last two wobbled. When I first moved in there were holes in the walls from years of tacks and nails. When I moved out I counted seventy three while I was fixing the place up, hoping to get my deposit back. Not much luck in that department either.
