The management while we lived here (2006-2007) was very unpleasant. I felt that they were disorganized, rude, and difficult to deal with. I always recommend documenting damages in a new place with a camera, burning it on CD, and submitting with your damage form. Also, there is a period of time within which the management must assess damages and return your security/damage deposit to you (granted they have your updated mailing address- responsibility is on you for that one). They did not send ours within the specified time limit and I simply sent them a cordial letter explaining that according to RCW code, that time limit had now expired and they were now required by state law to send our entire deposit in full. They did, so that worked out for us! However, while we lived there, we received charges for late rent payments and trash collection which we felt were unjustified and while they eventually did take off one charge, it was like pulling teeth and the lady really just made us feel uncomfortable. We lived in the newest building at the time and felt that the rent was a reasonable price for what you got and there was plenty of parking in our location. There wasn t an elevator which made moving a challenge. There was construction going on which was loud and annoying in the morning. I really enjoyed our apartment though- we were on the top floor and didn t have to deal with much noise. The people below us apparently thought we were extremely loud and would frequently come up to tell us. We usually were just going about our normal business so I would probably attribute this more to the construction of the building and the fact that they had a newborn baby.
