One of the worst.

The overall state of the apartment is in horrid condition, with mold growing in the crevices of the bathtub and windows, not to mention the walls. What is more, before we moved in, we noted that the carpet was in extremely poor condition. There is a puddle-sized black stain in a storage closet, among others throughout the apartment. Moreover, the carpet is in such poor condition that it is tearing apart, and with many open gaps between the floor and walls. When we asked that the carpet be replaced, Peggy, the ----- in disguise (a.k.a. The Chain-Smoking Manager), promptly told us that "The carpet is in perfect condition and will not be replaced." Peggy had told us that the giant rip in the hallway would be sewn at their expense; however, their solution was to place an ugly gold rod over the rip instead.

It is important to note that the appliances are in VERY poor condition and have not been updated. Our electricity bill has been running high due to issues with the dryer, water heater, and other appliances, which maintenance will not fix, because they are "not responsible for the problems." Our fridge was finally replaced, but we continually have issues with the dryer/washer, water heater, and bathroom fan, as well as the mold that I mentioned earlier. The plumbing is another issue, along with the giant trees that have grown over and into our porch. I like that these trees give a sense of privacy; still, I'd like for a trim so that the number of spiders will reduce. (Again, we've been told that this, too, will be fixed. It has not!) There has been an infestation of ants, which we had to take care of ourselves, as well as an infestation of silverfish--a problem that we are currently dealing with.

The manager is very rude and charges an awfully high rent price for such poorly built apartments.

Also, I advise that no one go into the pool. I called the health department, who came out and checked the water. Because maintenance is so poor, the pool and hot tub were temporarily shut down until they were able to meet standard regulations. Since then, however, they've continued to neglect proper protocol.

It's simply disgusting, and the noise level drives me crazy. Plus, cars are broken into on a regular basis... Lighting could help (with being able to see your damn car), however, the lights are never functioning properly. In fact, our car was broken into, and in the day light no less. We've also had people try and open our door in the middle of the night (either some drunk moron or a wannabe-break-in). Thankfully it was locked.
