I lived at Rowan Grove for about 6 months before I had enough. My car was broken into twice in about 6 weeks, and I knew of 3 other break ins while I was living there. The parking is horrible and fellow tenants will park in front of your garage, blocking you in/out. Getting blocked in happened several times to me, but Seth never actually called a tow truck like he always said he'd do if it kept happening, even though it was a NO parking zone. The only thing nice about Rowan Grove was its location right by WWUs campus. But being that close to campus means it is loud most of the time. It is an expensive place to live and the quality is not as nice as it appears to be in the online photos so don't be fooled by them! During the snow Seth did nothing to lay down sand or de-ice the pathways so you were constantly sliding or falling down the stairs. The bushes get overgrown and are in your way on the paths to campus/parking lot. The laundry room is small with old machines that were broken sometimes, and the cost was 1.00 to wash and 1.00 to dry. We were in a 4 bedroom and were assigned 2 parking spots, but other tenants parked in our spots so we would have to park on the street below and walk up the hill back to the apartment. Overall, the location does not help the horrible conditions or the high price, so find somewhere else and you'll be MUCH better off.

This is my second year living at Rowan Grove and I've loved it! location is extremely close to school, very convenient. The overall conditions of the interiors are pretty good. I lived on the top floor, so our apartment had good view and lots of natural lighting. Our landlord, Seth, has been really helpful with problems we've had. We always got prompt responses to our problems. Depending on the neighbors, the area remains pretty quiet at night in general. The only downside is you have to walk outside to a communal laundry room and that it isn't walking distant to the bars downtown. Otherwise, great place to live.
