The location is perfect for Western students with the bus stop right down the street at the Lincoln Creek Park n' Ride. For only $850/mo the apartment itself was a very spacious 2 bed, 2 bath and one room had a master with walk in closet. The bathrooms are big too and there's a big balcony. We never had a problem finding parking...and got so spoiled that we eventually got annoyed if we had to park a few spaces away from our front door! Before we moved in I was worried about the place being one of those "dirty" places that allows animals, but the management is very good about keeping everything clean and in good shape. This on-site management is the best I've ever seen...very accomodating and timely in fixing any problems. They run a tight ship but if you follow neighbor etiquette they won't get after you. They even have a cute little rec room with a mini gym and SAUNA! You can hear a little road noise if the apartment is facing the highway, but not too bad. My only complaint with the place is the energy bills are way higher than newer apartments, but overall the other factors far outweigh the extra bucks spent on utilites. Overall a great value and I would highly recommend Samish!
