The South Hill Apartments looked great at first. Nice 1 bedroom apartment, huge view of the bay, walking distance to WWU. But after about a month I was sick of the place. It is very expensive for Bellingham. The management "acts" nice. There was an unlawful entry into my apartment to post a letter that they could have been mailed to me, and when I complained to the manager about she was hostile, insulting, and uncooperative. Called me "rediculous" because I was upset someone came into my apartment. They are unforgiving about noise, careful not to have the TV too loud! Yet the early morning is extremely noisy with all the beautifying projects they do. They could be using that money to get a newer stove, or fix the sink and tub so they drain properly. But they would rather spruce up the facade.
