We have been residents in Manor building of the South Hill Apartments since the beginning of 2006, and my boyfriend and I are genuinely happy with our living space. It is our greatest pleasure to come home at the end of the day and enjoy our beutiful apartment, the view of the bay, and the serenity of our surroundings. Our neighbors are friendly, kind, respectful, and QUIET. South Hill Apartments allows cats, and smoking is also allowed in our apartment. The ceilings are high, the floor and walls are solid, the building is kept clean, the grounds are nicely manicured, and the staff is very helpful. Although a bit pricey for a 1-bedroom, and there aren't any lengthy leases to negotiate, and you certainly get what you pay for. The halls of the Manor building remind me of an upscale New York City apartment. Close to transit, within walking distance of WWU, and a generally quiet and safe neighborhood. A for singles or families without children.
