South Hill staff is wonderful -- responsive, efficient, and pleasant. The grounds are lovely, though I always wished they had places to sit and enjoy them -- a picnic table and a bench or two. Plentiful parking. Before living here I was a homeowner, and while I am finding out that apartment life really isn't for me (I like a lot of quiet and privacy), South Hill was a good first apartment experience. The motel-like building where I lived is clean and easily accessible, but often not so quiet from people inside and outside their apartments. Can't blame the staff for that, though they do a good job of communicating with tenants about noise and other issues. Laundry room is big, sunny, clean, and easy to use, though the new card machines were sort of a hassle.
