My wife and I moved to South Hill a year ago, we chose it because it seemed (and proved) itself to be a very safe place to live. My wife immigrated here a couple years ago, so it was important to me that she feel safe and comfortable while she adjusted to all that comes with living in a foreign country. I travel a lot with the Merchant Marine, so it was difficult to find a place to live where I felt comfortable leaving her for an extended period of time.
My wife had her purse stolen from her while she was working out at a downtown gym. As a result, her keys were stolen, all her Identification, and her credit cards, etc. Luckily she had her cel phone on her- she called the management at South Hill to report the keys stolen, and WOW, what a response!!!
The manager WENT to the gym and PICKED HER UP, CHANGED THE LOCKS IMMEDIATELY, and made certain she was comfortable and taken care of in my absence.
I have never seen such service in previous rental arrangements. I believe if you are fair and possess a small degree of sanity you will find this place to be a SAFE, classy and quiet place to live.
Hate to leave, but work requires us to move to Seattle for training.
I recommend the upper end units, (Manor) Pay the extra money, it is well worth it. I loved watching the tugboats in the morning while having coffee....
