The office people do not try to match you with three other "best accommodating" room mates at all.
Parking sucks. Half of the time I can't even park in my own complex, I have to go to another complex and park and then walk to my apartment.
Maintenance does a quick cheap job of fixing any problems. The problems I had fixed at the beginning of the year are still broken. Plus the people always smell heavily of cigarettes and the stench lingers in the apartment or they will smoke close to your door.
Rent is inconsistent. My rent is 200 dollars cheaper than one room mate, yet no explanation will be given.
Dryers suck. Don't use them.
