My son and I have lived here for almost two years now, and we appreciate the affordability combined with the civilized environment. Working, as I do, at other apartment buildings in Bellingham, I can compare the management and the tenants to be found elsewhere. The managers here at The Village, are always on the job, about the ground daily, keeping the area clean and appealing. They work hard to keep dumpster areas tidy and ground clean and well landscaped. They care if the area is quiet according to lease guidelines. We do not have noisy car stereos or late night noise here. The students and working people and families that live here coexist very well, in a civilized and pleasant environment. There are frustrations, i.e. no assigned parking areas, but, the tenants work it out. Generally a quiet, peaceful, respectable situation, out of the noisy, gross, mainstream of some of the lower priced apts. in Bellingham.
