Q: Does anyone have the dimensions for the "dining room"?
A: My boyfriend used to live in these and I must say there isn't much of a dining room: this is more like a size of a studio apartment just slightly bigger but they are safe and great and affordable apartments and a huge alternative to a dorm room. Anyway, if you want a dining room space my suggestion would be to buy one of those tall bar tables (they have two stools that store underneath), that way you can push it up against the wall and store the stools underneath the table and pull the stools out as you need them. That would be the handy thing to do. Good luck! : ) p.s. another thing I've seen for sale is a kitchen utility cart (good for storing things) with bar stools underneath them (or you can buy seperate) and then one side of the kitchen cart flips up (a leaf) and turns into a table for the two stools on that side, the other side you can use to chop and prepare food, etc. Those are very cool for small spaces. But to entertain? It will have to be done in the living room. Q: Do you allow Pets We have a Westie. He weights 15 lbs
A: Samish Ridge does allow pets, but I'm not sure what the amount is and what the weight limitations are. We have two cats, about the same weight and the deposit was $200.

Your best bet would be to call Leanne and Kari, the apartment managers, or just stop by. They are awesome and usually willing to work with any situation. In the beginning they were a little difficult to track down in person for a few days due to conflicting schedules, but it was totally worth the wait. Hope this helps!

Q: Does Samish Ridge have a web site? Any info online?
A: Nope, actually thats why we liked it. We're trying to move back, as we are current WWU Grad students and live far from campus currently (so not really into the dorm lifestyle or parties all week). Its very quiet and its not near campus, just about 5 mins from campus, buts its a popular place for all ages due to its location right near a park and ride, stores, and fairly reasonable pricing (mostly non-students when we lived there). Its really quiet, we lived on the bottom floor and never had a complaint about those above us.

A: WWU students usually start apartment hunting around April or May. Right about now I'd say is the prime season. A handful of my friends have already put down deposits.
