Policies vary from person to person.If two persons with similar conditions reachout archstone for a house,one might be lucky enough to get off of the refundable deposit and the other might not be.You can't question them because they don't like to compare with other person even if he is ur friend who is willing to share the info.They will run your credit check multiple times eventhough you move from one flat to other.

Personally I feel the apartment was really good ,but the worse is with the administration.The manager is very rude and doesn't care about the tenants.
