We just moved out after living here three years. I have lived in five apartments in the last 10years and always got my deposit back. When we moved out I spent 10 hours cleaning the apartment and a week later recieved a bill for $940.00. The carpet was worn down do to three years of traffic and two kids. We vacuumed but did not have them professionally cleaned so they charged us $220.00 dollars. I figured they would replace the carpet but they didn't so I have no problem paying the money. On the bill the charged us $175.00 for painting when the walls were very clean and free of marks and all holes. The big one was $350.00 to clean. I spent 11hours cleaning the last day after we moved out. If they were already charging me for the walls and carpet that leaves the kitchen and bathroom. I had that place so cleaner than any other apartment I had rented and they wanted me to pay $350.00. They had no justification for the fee and I had requested a walk through before they did any work but they just blew me off. When I brought this up to the managment they were very rude and had no sense of loyalty to a tenant that paid on time for three years and treated the apartment like it was my own. I was told by managment that if it wasn't exaclty as clean as when we moved in three years ago then we would have to pay to make it so. I brought op the normal wear and tear clause and all she said was it had to be exact as we moved in or better. I would never suggest this complex to my worst enemy!!!

You are scaring me! I just posted above and this was exactly what I was afraid of! I know they are going to try to get us and what choice will we have.... there is no reasoning with them and it is unfair they can suck the life and money out of people the way they do. I lived here for 2 years, 2 very long years and I am afraid of the move out costs from these money hungry people!
