Considering Canyon Creek' Head for the hills instead. The staff is extremely rude, unprofessional and lazy. Where did they find them anyway' Parking is a problem. Trash is problem. Maintenance is a problem. Rent is problem. Everything is wrong with this place. Don't be a sucker - stay as far away as possible from this nightmare of a place. I cannot wait to move!! It's going to be h*ll based on previous tenant reviews but I have to get out of here.

I've lived in a couple of Archstone's and I have had a great experience. The staff is kind and fair. I have heard people in the office yelling over things that they have no business being upset over. For example, if you are late with your rent, well, there's a penalty to pay. Same with any other payments you make. Don't fault Archstone for being a business. Besides, how would you like someone to go on a rating website and rate your work. We all have bad days. I know I do.

I rented from this complex for almost 2 years and agree with the original post. This place has the worst management I've experienced as a renter in 7 years of renting in two different states! I was spoken to rudely, to the point I was almost in tears...while holding my two week old baby. I asked to speak with a manager during this conversation and was told there was noone else to help me, that this associate was the end of the line. This was not true and a manager was eventually contacted for me, after another employee came from around the corner and rectifeid the situation. If the staff was nice to you, you must have had very brief time with them. They are a perfect example of why renting communities should hire people with not only a strong work ethic but also a strong moral code. There staff is stretched thin (between the bothell AND redmond complex) and the stress shows. DO NOT RENT HERE. Plus, we now rent ON lake washington for less than we paid here...minus the constant car alarms and dangerous mold (which we eventually had to call for someone to come clean...2x)

I have lived here for more than a year and never had mold... do you ever open windows? And as for the staff, the staff here is its own staff, they dont go to all the other complexes and goes by the book. They are fair and go by both the law and policy. If you are nice to them, I doubt they are rude to you. they seem pretty nice even when people yell at them... which i have seen first hand.

Anonymous says "they don't go to all the other complexes and goes by the book." April, your dear manager DOES go to other complexes. She's hardly there and when she is there she's useless. And going by the book? What book? The one they make up as they go along? They break the rules and are unfair, which is evident by the amount of negative comments posted here. People don't go out of their way to post unwarrented comments so that should tell you something. Namewitheld is right, it's obvious you're an employee of Archstone. I will say I feel bad for the good employees who work there and are trying to do a good job but with incompetent/nonexistent management that's tough to deal with.

Obviously anything nice that's said about this place are the people that work there. The management in horrible, the maintance in horrible, the rent in horrible, EVERYTHING about this place SUCKS
