We were relatively happy with our apartment initially. The complex offers a decent size indoor pool, several fitness rooms and a raquetball court. We kept to our selves and really didn't have any problems until the end of our one year lease. We had a 2 bedroom unit and paid $900. When it came time to renew we were looking at $1350 for month to month or $12'' for 11 month lease.
As mentioned by others, the complex got worse and worse and I increasingly saw the police. Being a stickler for details when we moved out I confirmed that I'd given proper notice with 2 separate representatives (my wife had also checked with a 3rd). I was shocked when I later received a bill for a whole months rent. I went in to dispute the bill and was given the run around, phone calls weren't returned, threats about being sent to collections were made etc. I finally worked things out (after hours and hours of wasting my time)and agreed to pay a reduced fee (because I was sick of dealing with it and just wanted to be done with it).
