I would never recommend this place. The good points (nice, well-kept grounds, amenities, and some nice office staff) do not come close to outweighing the bad. I am not a very critical person and have never took the time to write a review about any of the 6 or 7 different apartments I've lived in over the years. However, I am taking the time now because of how horrible this company is.

Basically, expect the management to care about you as far as they can suck $$$ out of you and no further. If there is a problem that does not directly affect them (for example you haven't received a referral bonus for 6 months, and by the way I was crazy for referring my brother here and he hates it now too)they won't call you back. I called at least 6 times with no call back. When they mistakenly thought I hadn't paid them enough (because I deducted the amount of the bonus from my rent because I was told to do so by an office staff member), they called my phone immediately several times, and posted an eviction notice on my door that day. I had never previously been late on rent so I thought that was rather drastic.

Also any time I have gotten the chance to speak to management, they have been rude and defensive before I even got a word out. They are obviously used to treating people like crap so that they don't have to justify their companies poor business dealings.

The most important reason why I would never recommend this place and am moving out after less than 1 year, is the rent increase. I was only allowed to sign a 7-month lease, I wanted to sign a 1 year lease, and after 7 months my rent went up $250 a month IF AND ONLY IF I signed on for another year! If I wanted a shorter lease it went up way more. They included an explanation of market fluctuations like I was stupid, I really appreciated that. I signed on for a 3 month lease to give myself time to move out, so my rent went from $1065 to $1395. Wow! I feel really stupid for ever renting here and hope that people read this and don't make the same mistake.
