RIP-OFF.........
What I can tell you is that we reserved/leased an apartment online BEFORE finding this site. Less than 24 hrs later we found this site and read the reviews, then decided it would be best to call and cancel and only eat our application fee ($80). Low and behold they decided to keep an extra $300 as a move-in fee even thou we've never actually been to the place! We are 3,000 miles away in Alaska and they still charged us as thou we had moved in! Rediculous..... All I can say is I'm glad we got away with only loosing that much, I can only immagine what we would have lost if we would have actually decided to stay there. Thank you too all who gave us the heads up about how bad this place is!!!

Did you not check what you signed (if you did at all?) Usually you have to be careful about "security deposits" that claim that they will not refund your money, even if you dont move into the place. If you didnt sign anything, I suggest you get a lawyer and get your money back, but if you did sign something, then faxed it, it's possible they have every right so to speak to keep that holding fee. I live here, and I happen to love it. Sorry that the terms were not clear on your part about how it works, I do sympathize, but in the future, I suggest that everyone read what they are signing! this happend to me too, but I learned my lesson. :0(

Thank you for all of your responses! We are going to review the lease and see what we can do about the whole thing. I am so glad for all of your comments, they definately helped us make the right decision by cancelling. We work in a very remote part of Alaska so it is difficult for us to find a place online with the internet connection. It makes me cringe having to deal with these people from up here. We will keep you all posted on the outcome.

No... This place is horrible. Obviouslly the person that wrote the last comment hasn't moved out and i'm sure their opinion will change once they do. They seem great when you move in but while living there they cant fix anything, you talk to someone different everyday, and the manager is a straight B****. I wrote one of those comments so i'm happy i helped in some way for you to NOT sign anything. But i would seriously read over what you "signed" cause even if you sign a lease, you have 3 days to cancel without penalty.

Me as well, I lived there for two years, and had many issues, glad I could help out if one of my comments was one you read. I got in literal yelling arguments with the manager there because she's such a flat out B*TCH. They tried to charge me huge fees when I moved out, even though I never got to attend a walk through, and I even voice recorded conversations with the manager and she contradicted herself numerous times. I went to their corporate headquarters to file complaints as well, I'm glad you were able to stay away!!!

To LIsShrrd3, I dont think that's true. You dont have 3 days to cancel without penalty. But Whatever you do, dont park in someone else's spot for a second. They are parking ----'s and they really pissed me off the last time, I had to escort my friend to her place because she had surgery and it was in the middle of the day, which means no cars here, really. So i come back down and they had the nerve to put a huge @s5 sticker on her car, and now it wont even come off. That is practically vandalism in my opinion. I gave them a piece of my mind and didn't even get an apology much less a response. I dont have a problem with the office staff there, as long as it's not that one old couger lady with the blondish paige cut hair, who looks like she has a stick up her @_ss.!!! She will smile at you and the minute you turn around she has this sour expression on her face and I caught her doing that, she just gave me another fake smile. Talk about having a sad sad life.
