Not just here, but for all apartment reviews. Is it just that only angry people who can't spell post' (My apologies to those of you who are well-written, positive of negative).

Did you people not read the lease paperwork before you signed' I did. I understood that a fee is a fee and that they don't call it a deposit for that reason. I even pay an extra $20 a month for my cat. And I expect I'll have to pay extra for cleaning when I move out, because I am not a housecleaner by trade and it won't be spotless by their standards.

I find that if one is polite to office staff (or staff anywhere, for that matter, but I digress) that one gets good service. They have always been very nice to me, quick and prompt service, a smile, a phone call for follow up, a safe place to live. But I'm nice to them. Maybe what goes around comes around, you know'

Very, very true. The gals that work in the office have been nothing but great to me and my roommate. Treat people with the respect that they deserve and you will find that most of the time, you will get what you want. :-)
