Archstone seemed great at the time of move in, however like someone wrote in a previous review, Archstone does like to violate your privacy rights. Just recently I was rudely wakened by extreme pounding and shouting at the door. I called the front office and found out that they wanted to get in to install a flood stop. I let the front office know that I didn't receive any notice and they will just have to reschedule. The office woman kept insisting that everyone received notice. Again I advised that I didn t receive any notice. Had I known about this I would have arranged it for someone to be here to let them in and watch. I thought that everything was fine and that they where going to come back in 48 hours just as by law they should have. That isn't the case though. They kept coming back to the door and pounding and shouting. What kind of place is this' Flood stops are a great idea and can save you from lots of damage. There isn't a problem with wanting to put them in. The problem is that Archstone Northcreek doesn't care about tenants rights. They just say that the so called notice blew away or someone took it. That doesn't help me any, I still didn't receive notice. That excuse will not work in the future for them. If anyone is having a problem with Archstone Northcreek and needs help, call the tenants Union of Washington State 206-723-0500. They are giving me the info I need and Archstone will be fined in the future for violations. I see that the other apartment rating sites have more bad reviews about archstone also. The bad seem to out way the good for this complex. I wonder if the good reviews are being written by people who were paid or by the front office' Not many of them anyway.

Yes, a lot of the back-lash responses against the bad ones are coming from Archstone management. It sounds like you are fighting for your rights which is great! You will need to be careful at move out when they usually try to ding you for bogus painting and re-carpeting. Know your rights regarding this and keep detailed records, using certified mail to the office when communicating. Sounds funny, and it will cost a few bucks, but it worked for me in the end.

The previous posts are totally correct. If you have problems with the Archstone Northcreek mis-management staff, feel free to call the regional manager in Bellevue, Greg Taylor, at 425-415-8160. He's arrogant and rude, as are the brainless bimbos he hires to run the leasing offices, but I'm sure he'd LOVE to hear from the abused Archstone tenants.

I remember the flood stop thing. I didn't get a notice either. I called the office, and she simply stated that everyone 'should have' gotten one. BS. And the work they did looks horrible. I'm glad I don't own this place.
