Update: place is falling apart!

Years at this apartment: 1998 - 2002
They have now started to have terrible problems with rotting wood and mold. Most of the buildings and porches now have giant wood timbers to ensure that the building doesn't fall apart!
One of the residents even saw them taking the (rotted) plank of a beam, then cover up the rot with another plank so it would look good.
I'm moving as soon as I can, before the apartment collapses and takes my property with it. I doubt this complex will withstand an earthquake.
