Our deposit was kept, even though we left the apartment in sparkling condition (with normal wear and tear on the carpet). When we complained, the management said that the units had been sold, and then the royal run-around started. We still don't have our deposit back. They even wanted to charge us for cleaning a stain on the carpet that was there BEFORE we moved in, which was clearly marked on the move-in inspection. We were there for almost two years, were late ONCE for being one day after the grace period for rent due (because the office was always locked and there wasn't a drop box) and had a "notice to vacate" posted on our door and added to our "permanent file". The bar next door would have drunks and drug dealers in and out all the time (there is a "no weapons" sign on the door of the bar), delivery trucks would bounce noisily over the speed bumps outside our bedroom window. Drunk people knocking on the door asking if "this is where the party is", screaming in the night and kids leaving empty packages of Sudafed after their last high. However, the Piece d'resistance was when they had to put a 4" x 4" post nailed into our concrete deck because ALL of the wood holding up the deck above us was filled with rot and insect holes 1" in diameter. And then left it there until we left - about four weeks. At that time, office staff was ESPECIALLY rude to immigrants that have limited English skills. Shameful and embarrassing.

This is a HORRIBLE place to live.
