Its been a great run here and I would continue to live here except I want to live much closer to work and reduce my rent some.
Its nice the workout room is available to use 24 hours. When you sign up there is a $250 amenities fee (workout room, sauna, pool, groundskeeping, meeting place in the office) so you don't have to go to a health club to work out. If I were to stay here the rent was going up only $19 dollars. Not sure if they have any rental specials going on, never hurts to ask. Every time I go to the fitness room there is never more than 1 person in there. I go at different times also. So basically I have no pets but there would be a pet fee if you have a pet.
I am a single female and I have never felt unsafe here at any point. Every unit has an alarm and maintenance is top notch. The office staff has always been professional and truly friendly. Yes there was 1 manager who left which was for the best I think. The manger Michael is quite friendly and ready to help with anything. The office has office hours every day and they'll hold packages for you or deliver them to your apartment if you are a busy person.
They send around notices to keep you informed of whats happening in the community and there is ample parking I think unless you have 20 cars coming in and out of your area you'll be fine. If you have a 1 bedroom you have 1 assigned spot and if you have a townhouse you have your garage plus the space in front of the garage. You can use the permit parking also. They have laundry pick up if you need it, plenty of delivery options for takeout and grocery delivery if you need it. Right near Canyon Park park and ride and major businesses. Near 405/5 freeways.
They include the trash with the rent payment which is an extra flat $15. Water and sewer are around $35 a month. Electricity depends on how much you use. Some units have fireplaces. Mine did not. Yes there is heat. Baseboard in the bedroom and forced heat in the living/dining section. The 1 bedroom unit is pretty big so you would have ample space for all of your things. In my one bedroom it has a huge walk in closet. In the bathroom is the full size washer and dryer and a separate linen closet. The kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and a walk in pantry. When you walk in to the left is the closet to hang up your coats. On the deck is a storage closet. The whole complex has high speed internet but you'd need a router I believe still but that may have changed by now.
Very good apartment for that winter weather craziness. I never once lost power since I have lived here during the windstorms or snow dramas.
Excellent place to live in my opinion. Yeah, its a bit higher than other units in the area but well worth it in my view. The worst thing one deals with here is making sure you lock and secure your car since there were some break ins and stolen vehicles during my tenure here. Don't leave valuables in plain site or leave your car unlocked. The thieves seemed to favour Hondas. I never had mold problems because I actually clean up after myself in the restroom.
Its just up to you to take a tour and ask your questions and see if the apartment community meets your needs. If you aren't a rules person I wouldn't recommend living here. I don't think there are that many rules personally. Just basic stuff like don't leave trash on your deck, pay your rent and bills on time, and pay attention to the parking situation. The weirdest rule (so I have heard) is if you hang drapes it has to show white to the outside so it looks uniform. Never had any drama from other residents or management either. Its not overly noisy if you live on the first level or second levels if you live in a 1 bedroom in my view. Its way less noisy than any other complex I have lived in and well insulated but if people live above you its likely you will hear them once in awhile. In a townhouse obviously there is no concern about that. I think I covered it all.

Does this sound like leasing agent on a property tour to anyone else?

I am neither of those but you wouldn't believe a review unless it was totally negative anyhow!
