My one-year lease will end next month, and I wanted to share before I leave that I enjoyed my stay throughout. I leased a two-bedroom, two-bath, town home, and my experience was indeed a time well-spent . I would have extended had there been a three-bedroom town home available.

I felt comfortable. You can watch and hear the birds as they fly to and from flower gilded-balconies.

The place is quiet. It s a family-oriented complex, and although the children come out and play during the day, they are respectful enough to end their joyful clatter by dawn or sooner. There are teenagers, but you won t see them hanging about in the common grounds in the later hours. They do congregate around the swimming pool and Jacuzzi area, but they are also respectful in keeping the noise down. I really appreciate the parents for such wonderful kids.

I felt secure. Whenever my daughter s puppy needed to spend the night, I can take him out at any late hour with the sense that I am safe. Once, I did encounter three teenage boys outside who were smoking, which alarmed me and the dog, but was quickly reassured when they greeted me a good evening .

The management has changed once during my tenure, but that is as expected with any career. Both management teams are professional and consistent with their customer-service message. I cannot say enough about the staff they are friendly and always wave to you when they see you leisurely about. They are prompt when I needed service, and are experts in their field.

The Avalon Communities upheld their objective to keep their residents happy. I hope you will enjoy your time as I had.

I've been here for 2 years and only moving because the rent has gone up too much to justify staying here and I want to be closer in the city as well. The painting they are doing looks nice and they cracked down on the residents who weren't picking up after their dogs. The new management team could communicate a little better though.
